Exporting data to a csv file

Understand the technical capabilities of ThoughtSpot when exporting data to a csv file.

ThoughtSpot is Mindset AI chosen BI tool which is embedded into the platform. If you would like to export data directly from ThoughtSpot please follow the below steps.

Firstly, go to your chosen liveboard in ThoughtSpot and find the data you would like to export.

Hover over the widget and click explore, this will then open up the widget to full screen.

When fullscreen select the three dots in the top right-hand corner and you can see a Download option. Selecting this will give you the choice of three files to download the data into. Selecting CSV will trigger the download onto your computer.

If you cannot see the download button, please raise an MSP ticket.
