About MOS

This handbook is the definitive guide to how we work at Mindset AI. It documents our core processes, explains why they exist, and serves as a transparent resource for anyone working with or considering joining us. We call this system MOS (Mindset Operating System)—the foundation of how we run the company. Think of this handbook as its user manual. Explore the sections below to learn more. We believe in full transparency, so read carefully—this is how we do things. Think of MOS as the company’s operating system and this handbook as its user manual. It’s a living system that evolves as we do, and improvements are always welcome. Just be sure to follow the agreed-upon process for updates.

Why does MOS exist?

To understand MOS, you first need to know our Vision and Mission:
Vision: Leveraging AI to bridge the gap between human ability and human ambition, and standing at the forefront of the AI revolution to help shape how humans and AI collaborate in the decade ahead. Mission: Building a sustainable, creative, fulfilled and diverse global company using groundbreaking thinking and structures to positively impact the lives of everyone we work with and those who rely on our platform. We commit to actively evolving the roles people play as AI becomes part of every team, so that humans stay at the centre of the work that matters most.
MOS is how we bring this mission to life—it’s the user manual for how Mindset AI operates. It defines how we run our company and organize ourselves to achieve our goals in a world that is changing faster than at any point in recent memory.

Why is MOS public?

Transparency is a core value at Mindset AI. By openly documenting our ways of working, values, and priorities, we make a statement about who we are and how we operate. MOS is also how we run the company, but it shapes what we build. Working this way every day surfaces problems our existing tools weren’t designed for, and sometimes the best answer is to build the tool. Memex AI is one of those: the strategy, decision, and knowledge layer we wanted for ourselves as an AI-native team, now shared with others walking the same path.

Who is MOS for?

If you’re reading this, MOS is for you. It’s for anyone who works with or is considering working with us—whether you’re a customer, partner, investor, employee, or prospective hire. It’s here to help you understand who we are, why we exist, and what we believe in.

Inspiration

MOS is built on decades of experience, trial and error, and the wisdom of some of the most innovative thinkers of our time. While it continues to evolve, its foundation is shaped by key influences, which we’ve outlined here. We’ve been heavily inspired by critical thinkers and their work. If you enjoy reading, we highly recommend exploring this list—and we’re always open to new suggestions. If you’d like to read any of these books, we’ll cover the cost (for employees).
