At Mindset, an Agent is an autonomous unit that can:
- Perform specific tasks
 
- Make decisions based on its role and goal
 
- Use tools to accomplish objectives
 
Agents should be viewed as a subject matter expert. For example, a writer agent will be great at creating content whereas as a coaching agent will be best for helping people learn.
Mindset provides a simple no-code agent builder to make this process easy. Inside the agent builder, you can:
- Configure an agent with simple form based switches
 
- Test your agent and preview the experience
 
- Add capabilities to agents, which are simple processes an agent can follow
 
Agent Attributes
- Name and description: The agent name and description will be what the end-user sees
 
- Agent Purpose: Define its role and why it exists
 
- Agent Personality: Its tone of voice and its brand
 
- Policy Rules: Rules the agent must never break
 
- Output Formatting: The format for answering questions
 
- Additional Information: Any backstory or information you want to agent to have access too
 
- Icebreaker: Describe to the agent what type of icebreaker message it must send
 
- Completion Step: Describe how the agent should finish a conversation
 
- Tools (optional): Abilities it has access to via function calling
 
- Knowledge Context Access: The knowledge it has access too
